Success or Failure: Perspective, Beliefs and Persistence

Success or Failure: Perspective, Beliefs and Persistence

Change your beliefs = change your results!

All failure begins this way:
People start out with high hopes about fulfilling their dreams, their life purpose, being successful, becoming balanced, happy and fulfilled, becoming wealthy,etc….., but when their perception of their circumstances suggests a lesser outcome is more likely (perhaps  an unexpected obstacle arises), their reaction becomes the initial seed of failure. This process destroys the dreams of countless people.  One of the myriad benefits of getting life purpose coaching or Money Mastery coaching is that the coach will help you to see the obstacles for what they are and hold you accountable to pursuing and fulfilling the dreams or intentions you initially brought to your coach.
Take a look at how this process works:
1. We all have two parts in our thinking: One is our dream or goal, and the second is the belief (conscious or subconscious limiting belief) that it might not ever happen. This is where most people start out.  This is like driving with the parking brake on- the parking brake makes it extremely difficult to move forward much less achieve acceleration or transformation.  It takes tremendous effort on the engine’s part, consumes a tremendous amount of fuel in order to move forward AND it’s highly stressful and will create damage.  In this analogy, we can all see that it makes no sense to operate a car this way.  Yet, many of us do attempt to operate our lives and our businesses this way and we wonder why we don’t succeed or why we can’t do everything needed to succeed.  We wonder why our spiritual, personal, and economic growth is slow or difficult.  So often it’s a case of looking at only half of the equation (the doing half) and forgetting the other half: WHO/HOW you have to BE to succeed.

2. Next, something begins to spark or inspire a person to take action on their dream, their life purpose, or their mission. Yet, not having a full understanding of the Laws of Success, they may not be aware of or receptive to the changes, the personal and spiritual growth required to realize their dream outcome.  Many individuals are not open to growth and change; this shows up as resistance.

3. Their subconscious may manifest an obstacle to keep them from experiencing anything “new” – a pre-requisite for moving forward.  This new challenge is perceived as a point of failure.
It is at this point in a person’s journey where moving forward becomes too painful or fearful, and a person usually chooses to stay “safe”, to remain in the realm of what they’ve known and are comfortable with.  This is known as one’s comfort zone. Being willing to move out of one’s comfort zone allows one to move forward, see the bigger win they are hoping for, and move into the growth and change necessary!
For any kind of change to occur, some sort of shift is necessary. Your beliefs control your perception of everything in your world, which in turn creates your reality. If you want to change your results, you must change your beliefs AND shift your perception. Until you shift your perception and your beliefs, you will continue to make choices that keep you where you are.  Without such a shift, you will likely feel defeated and give up on your dreams.
In theory, it’s really simple … but in practice, many people find it difficult because they really don’t understand all beliefs are nothing but illusions anyway. These illusions are so strong people think that they are real and they lack the knowledge, training or guidance to transform their beliefs.
The power of belief is astounding. I encourage you to study its mysteries for yourself and see what changes you truly do have the power to make.  Want some help?  I have powerful graceful tools to facilitate your transformation.  Contact me: kamila@MoneyMastery.us

Wayne Dyer: Excuses Begone

Wayne Dyer: Excuses Begone

Wayne Dyer’s new book: Excuses Begone gives readers 18 affirmations to antidote 18 of the most common excuses and gives a 6 part exercise to do on the excuses that you use.

Here are some snippets:

Don’t underestimate your ability to change.

Fulfill your passion and your purpose by eliminating all excuses.  Simply accept no excuses from yourself.

You can change your DNA by changing your perception.

Passion within you is god speaking.

The effectiveness of The Placebo Effect is due to the power of belief and due to thoughts becoming things.

Never let money keep you from living your dharma or your purpose.

Don’t let rules stop you.  Practice civil disobedience.

“With god, all things are possible”- this means EVERYTHING; nothing is excluded!

All excuses are the result of misalignment.

Can you imagine God/Source saying “I’m too tired” or “I don’t have enough time”?

If your thoughts match Source/God, you have the same power as Source, you set into motion the creative forces in the Universe, and you attract Divine Mind.

Make your #1 relationship your relationship with the divine.

Allow the divine to work it’s magic.

Suspend all blame, take full responsibility, surrender to what’s bigger than you, be willing to transform, shed EVERYTHING you’ve been unwilling to do.

It’s never too late.  many people have created highly successful careers and businesses after midlife.

Carl Jung said: “Our greatest problems are not to be solved but to be outgrown”.

See the hidden blessings in the challenges you have.

Feelings are your manifesters!

Lao-tzu: change your beliefs, your perception, your thoughts and transform yourself, your life and your finances

Change your beliefs, your perception, your thoughts and transform yourself, your life and your finances

”If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.”

Lao-tzu

This may be the most appropriate quote for my website because my work with clients is all about working with them to become aware of and ultimately changing their thinking, their beliefs and their perception of reality and of possibility.

It’s both my opinion as well as my personal experience that when we become aware of and endeavor to shift our beliefs and perceptions that total transformation becomes possible.

My own thinking and perception today is soooo different than it was 20 years ago.  As a result, my experience and my behavior are quite transformed and I’m much closer to realizing my full potential.  My teenage daughter even thinks I’m totally awesome.  How rare is that?

Success, Happiness, Progress and your conscious mind, and your unconscious or subconscious mind

Success, Happiness, Progress and your conscious mind, and your unconscious or subconscious mind

Do you ever return to your business after attending a seminar, reading a book, listening to a CD, or  pumped up full with fresh information and inspiration, only to never apply it?  You may have blamed yourself for the lack of follow through.  In fact, the part of your brain that GATHERS information is different from the part that APPLIES new knowledge and the two were not working together.  In fact, they are often at cross-purposes to each other and you may be entirely unaware of this.  They may be at total loggerheads.  There may be intense internal conflicts hampering your progress and thwarting your success.  It’s all too common!

Your conscious mind is responsible for choosing what you want. Your subconscious mind is responsible for your perceptions and behavior. You may need to reprogram your subconscious to think and behave in ways that support what you want, believe in those things, and be willing and able to work toward what you want.  Without this reprogramming, your forward progress, about which you were so inspired, will be hampered by internal conflicts between what your subconscious believes is possible and what your conscious mind wants to happen.

Here are three things you can do to start reconditioning your subconscious:

1. Take action every morning. Start your day with FEELING how you want your life and your business to be- how will it feel when it’s the way you want it to be?  Allow yourself to remain in that feeling. Meditate on your visions and goals for your business and life.  This is a first step in The Law of Attraction.

2. Focus on what you’re grateful for. By combining your feelings of gratitude along with visualizations in the morning, your brain will release chemicals which will begin to retrain your subconscious mind to think differently.

3. Emotionalize your success. Act as if you are already at the level of success that you want to achieve. By putting yourself in those shoes, you will think and behave differently… which will lead to changes in your perception ad in your behavior… and more importantly… will lead to action.

These are just the beginning steps to change from the inside out in order for your  world to change. It is actually a slow process to change the subconscious in this way so don’t expect it to happen fast.  Your neurology has to change; new neural pathways in the brain must be forged and deepened by repetition or intensity.  If you want fast, you’ll need the help of a professional. This recession is a great opportunity for transformation, pursuing your life purpose, and shifting your relationship with money

This recession is a great opportunity for transformation, pursuing your life purpose, and shifting your relationship with money

Many people are highly stressed by current circumstances. Others are rolling with the circumstances and using the inherent opportunity to re-craft their life to their specifications and values, to make their life and their work congruent with their values, to move toward having more fulfillment, more freedom, more satisfaction, and perhaps more income as well. They see this as an opportunity to launch their dreams. They may feel they have little to lose at this point so why not go for it.

I’m reminded of a news story I read in the mid-1990s when a lot of middle-level managers were losing their jobs. The article interviewed a number of these out-of-work people. Some of them were very stressed, worrying about making ends meet. Some of them, however, were very happy and seemed to exhibit no stress at all.
People in this latter group experienced being fired or laid off as an opportunity to do something they had always wanted to do and had never done because they were “stuck” in their jobs. They either created one-person consulting firms, opened some type of retail store, or went back to school and changed professions entirely.
If losing your job means you will never find another way to make money, you will be very stressed. If losing your job means you can now do something even more nurturing, self-expressive and satisfying, you will be excited about the same event.  If you see it as an opportunity to pursue your life purpose and shift your relationship with money, you may be thrilled (even while being a bit nervous).
You see, events don’t have any inherent meaning. Circumstances don’t mean anything until you give them a meaning … and one meaning can be stressful while another might be enlivening. Stress is caused by the meaning we give to events-which in turn comes from our negative beliefs and feelings about ourselves, our relationship with money, people, and the world we live in.

What do you choose? What is your dream? What do you have to lose? Are you willing to risk it? If so, what’s the first step? Take that first step. The rest will follow.

Internal Spring Cleaning to transform your beliefs and habits

Internal Spring Cleaning to transform your beliefs and habits

Oh, how I love spring! I love the freshness, the growth in nature, the renewal after a long winter, a fresh slate, a new start,….. This weekend I worked a lot on my landscape: first pulling weeds that had grown between the cobblestones and then re-setting cobblestones and filling the cracks so weeds will not be able to grow there again. For me, this is actually much much more than just landscaping, it’s the result of internal changes that involved eliminating and replacing certain long held beliefs about myself and my life. This, in turn, resulted in taking action that supports my desire to have a certain degree of order and aesthetics in my environment because that feeds my soul and that order and beauty feels like a needed support for me to go out in the world and help others.

In the book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey says “In developing our own self-awareness many of us discover ineffective scripts, deeply embedded habits that are totally unworthy of us, totally incongruent with the things we really value in life. We are response-able to use our imagination and creativity to write new ones that are more effective, more congruent with our deepest values and with the correct principles that gives our values meaning.”

So, take a slow deep breath, maybe a few of them, and contemplate for a moment what you really value and how your actions may be incongruent with or not in support of these values. What are 3 simple changes you can begin right now to address this? Happy Weeding. When your life is weed-free, it makes space for anything to happen, including what you desire, including what you’re here to do. Start now. Pull some weeds and plant some seeds. Let me know what sprouts. Need some help identifying those old beliefs or replacing them? Contact me, I’d love to help you.

The current economy: fear, constriction, and dissociation OR a potent opportunity for discovery, growth, and transformation?

The current economy: fear, constriction, and dissociation OR a potent opportunity for discovery, growth, and transformation?
We are powerless to change that which we lack conscious awareness of.
Given our current financial condition, it is time to explore both our personal and collective relationship with money more deeply.  Money can be a very powerful teacher of what we have yet to learn about who we are as human beings.

We all possess unconscious beliefs, patterns and behaviors around money that are largely unknown to us.  It is time to embark upon a deeper learning and integrate money into our spiritual work.  We created it, we made it powerful, and its movement in the world is a direct reflection of our consciousness. As we become increasingly more conscious of this aspect of ourselves, we can begin to co-create a more meaningful and sustainable experience with money and the world around us. The other reward we will receive for doing our personal money work, I believe, is access to the pure potentiality that money represents that will allow us to become more evolved and fulfilled in all areas of our lives. This potential is greater than we ever imagined possible.

It’s interesting to note that the early alchemists did not attempt to turn lead into gold for financial gain, they were seeking spiritual gain. Quite literally, the process of turning the darker, heavier metal of lead to gold was to raise one’s consciousness, not one’s wealth. The alchemists were seeking enlightenment. On the path of seeking spiritual truth, gold was merely a physical manifestation of their enlightenment.
Until we understand and transform our relationship with money and become the alchemists in our own lives, money will always be problematic. Seeking to possess it without understanding its true purpose and meaning in our lives will only leave us feeling more conflicted and unfulfilled. The journey is not about money. The journey is about truth and self-discovery, an archeological dig to the center of the truth of who we really are.
Now, more than ever before we are all being called to delve deeper into our spiritual journey. We must take action to create a world to that values human beings and our planet above profit. We need to trust that there is enough for everyone. Spirit will provide. We must resist the temptation to go into fear and constriction as there is nothing that can be gained by this. That is a trap that only stands to fulfill itself. Now is the time to release and let go of all that no longer serves us so that we can create the space to receive that which does.

What will be your first action in this direction?
