Success or Failure: Perspective, Beliefs and Persistence

Success or Failure: Perspective, Beliefs and Persistence

Change your beliefs = change your results!

All failure begins this way:
People start out with high hopes about fulfilling their dreams, their life purpose, being successful, becoming balanced, happy and fulfilled, becoming wealthy,etc….., but when their perception of their circumstances suggests a lesser outcome is more likely (perhaps  an unexpected obstacle arises), their reaction becomes the initial seed of failure. This process destroys the dreams of countless people.  One of the myriad benefits of getting life purpose coaching or Money Mastery coaching is that the coach will help you to see the obstacles for what they are and hold you accountable to pursuing and fulfilling the dreams or intentions you initially brought to your coach.
Take a look at how this process works:
1. We all have two parts in our thinking: One is our dream or goal, and the second is the belief (conscious or subconscious limiting belief) that it might not ever happen. This is where most people start out.  This is like driving with the parking brake on- the parking brake makes it extremely difficult to move forward much less achieve acceleration or transformation.  It takes tremendous effort on the engine’s part, consumes a tremendous amount of fuel in order to move forward AND it’s highly stressful and will create damage.  In this analogy, we can all see that it makes no sense to operate a car this way.  Yet, many of us do attempt to operate our lives and our businesses this way and we wonder why we don’t succeed or why we can’t do everything needed to succeed.  We wonder why our spiritual, personal, and economic growth is slow or difficult.  So often it’s a case of looking at only half of the equation (the doing half) and forgetting the other half: WHO/HOW you have to BE to succeed.

2. Next, something begins to spark or inspire a person to take action on their dream, their life purpose, or their mission. Yet, not having a full understanding of the Laws of Success, they may not be aware of or receptive to the changes, the personal and spiritual growth required to realize their dream outcome.  Many individuals are not open to growth and change; this shows up as resistance.

3. Their subconscious may manifest an obstacle to keep them from experiencing anything “new” – a pre-requisite for moving forward.  This new challenge is perceived as a point of failure.
It is at this point in a person’s journey where moving forward becomes too painful or fearful, and a person usually chooses to stay “safe”, to remain in the realm of what they’ve known and are comfortable with.  This is known as one’s comfort zone. Being willing to move out of one’s comfort zone allows one to move forward, see the bigger win they are hoping for, and move into the growth and change necessary!
For any kind of change to occur, some sort of shift is necessary. Your beliefs control your perception of everything in your world, which in turn creates your reality. If you want to change your results, you must change your beliefs AND shift your perception. Until you shift your perception and your beliefs, you will continue to make choices that keep you where you are.  Without such a shift, you will likely feel defeated and give up on your dreams.
In theory, it’s really simple … but in practice, many people find it difficult because they really don’t understand all beliefs are nothing but illusions anyway. These illusions are so strong people think that they are real and they lack the knowledge, training or guidance to transform their beliefs.
The power of belief is astounding. I encourage you to study its mysteries for yourself and see what changes you truly do have the power to make.  Want some help?  I have powerful graceful tools to facilitate your transformation.  Contact me: kamila@MoneyMastery.us

Wayne Dyer: Excuses Begone

Wayne Dyer: Excuses Begone

Wayne Dyer’s new book: Excuses Begone gives readers 18 affirmations to antidote 18 of the most common excuses and gives a 6 part exercise to do on the excuses that you use.

Here are some snippets:

Don’t underestimate your ability to change.

Fulfill your passion and your purpose by eliminating all excuses.  Simply accept no excuses from yourself.

You can change your DNA by changing your perception.

Passion within you is god speaking.

The effectiveness of The Placebo Effect is due to the power of belief and due to thoughts becoming things.

Never let money keep you from living your dharma or your purpose.

Don’t let rules stop you.  Practice civil disobedience.

“With god, all things are possible”- this means EVERYTHING; nothing is excluded!

All excuses are the result of misalignment.

Can you imagine God/Source saying “I’m too tired” or “I don’t have enough time”?

If your thoughts match Source/God, you have the same power as Source, you set into motion the creative forces in the Universe, and you attract Divine Mind.

Make your #1 relationship your relationship with the divine.

Allow the divine to work it’s magic.

Suspend all blame, take full responsibility, surrender to what’s bigger than you, be willing to transform, shed EVERYTHING you’ve been unwilling to do.

It’s never too late.  many people have created highly successful careers and businesses after midlife.

Carl Jung said: “Our greatest problems are not to be solved but to be outgrown”.

See the hidden blessings in the challenges you have.

Feelings are your manifesters!

This recession is a great opportunity for transformation, pursuing your life purpose, and shifting your relationship with money

This recession is a great opportunity for transformation, pursuing your life purpose, and shifting your relationship with money

Many people are highly stressed by current circumstances. Others are rolling with the circumstances and using the inherent opportunity to re-craft their life to their specifications and values, to make their life and their work congruent with their values, to move toward having more fulfillment, more freedom, more satisfaction, and perhaps more income as well. They see this as an opportunity to launch their dreams. They may feel they have little to lose at this point so why not go for it.

I’m reminded of a news story I read in the mid-1990s when a lot of middle-level managers were losing their jobs. The article interviewed a number of these out-of-work people. Some of them were very stressed, worrying about making ends meet. Some of them, however, were very happy and seemed to exhibit no stress at all.
People in this latter group experienced being fired or laid off as an opportunity to do something they had always wanted to do and had never done because they were “stuck” in their jobs. They either created one-person consulting firms, opened some type of retail store, or went back to school and changed professions entirely.
If losing your job means you will never find another way to make money, you will be very stressed. If losing your job means you can now do something even more nurturing, self-expressive and satisfying, you will be excited about the same event.  If you see it as an opportunity to pursue your life purpose and shift your relationship with money, you may be thrilled (even while being a bit nervous).
You see, events don’t have any inherent meaning. Circumstances don’t mean anything until you give them a meaning … and one meaning can be stressful while another might be enlivening. Stress is caused by the meaning we give to events-which in turn comes from our negative beliefs and feelings about ourselves, our relationship with money, people, and the world we live in.

What do you choose? What is your dream? What do you have to lose? Are you willing to risk it? If so, what’s the first step? Take that first step. The rest will follow.

Internal Spring Cleaning to transform your beliefs and habits

Internal Spring Cleaning to transform your beliefs and habits

Oh, how I love spring! I love the freshness, the growth in nature, the renewal after a long winter, a fresh slate, a new start,….. This weekend I worked a lot on my landscape: first pulling weeds that had grown between the cobblestones and then re-setting cobblestones and filling the cracks so weeds will not be able to grow there again. For me, this is actually much much more than just landscaping, it’s the result of internal changes that involved eliminating and replacing certain long held beliefs about myself and my life. This, in turn, resulted in taking action that supports my desire to have a certain degree of order and aesthetics in my environment because that feeds my soul and that order and beauty feels like a needed support for me to go out in the world and help others.

In the book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey says “In developing our own self-awareness many of us discover ineffective scripts, deeply embedded habits that are totally unworthy of us, totally incongruent with the things we really value in life. We are response-able to use our imagination and creativity to write new ones that are more effective, more congruent with our deepest values and with the correct principles that gives our values meaning.”

So, take a slow deep breath, maybe a few of them, and contemplate for a moment what you really value and how your actions may be incongruent with or not in support of these values. What are 3 simple changes you can begin right now to address this? Happy Weeding. When your life is weed-free, it makes space for anything to happen, including what you desire, including what you’re here to do. Start now. Pull some weeds and plant some seeds. Let me know what sprouts. Need some help identifying those old beliefs or replacing them? Contact me, I’d love to help you.

Money Mastery: Better Late than Never

Money Mastery: Better Late than Never

For the past year I have known that I need an assistant or a marketing person in my new business. I’ve been caught in the common dilemma of the small business owner: whether to wait till the business is generating the income to pay for such a person or use start-up money to fund the expense. This is a tough call for every entrepreneur in this situation. I knew then that I should take the leap and Just Do It, just as I had in making the decision to start the business and go full out with it. However, I just couldn’t get myself to do it. In the meantime I researched my options and I just got clearer and clearer that I was shooting myself in the foot by not getting the help my business needs. I explored what beliefs and personality elements were keeping me from taking the necessary action. THAT was the most (only?) fruitful part of waiting to take action. I saw a lot about myself, ways that I’ve been that no longer serve me (if they ever did serve me), and, as a good coach, I coached myself to eliminate those beliefs, choose to change and choose to create new habits, new neural pathways for new beliefs and new behaviors that do suit me, that do serve me, and will allow me to become as successful as I intend to be with my new business.

At the end of Feb. at the Bay Area Consultants Network monthly meeting in San Rafael, I met Sandi Silva, the owner of Dynamic Support Solutions which is a team of Virtual Assistants that do just about everything including marketing. Instantly, I knew I’d “found” exactly what/who I’ve been needing. I didn’t hesitate; I acted decisively and swiftly to get her team working on my business. What a relief! I feel an enormous weight lifted from my neck and shoulders- literally. Now, after a month, it’s taking a lot to keep from kicking myself for not doing this a year ago and to keep myself from dwelling on where my business might be now if I had. BIG SIGH!!!! I keep reminding myself that I can’t do anything about that now, that it’s not a productive use of my time and energy to dwell on that today, and at least I am now taking the needed action and reaping the benefit. The Chinese have a saying “The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today.”

How often do we not do something because we wish we’d already done it, wish we’d already made the decision, set something in motion at an earlier time. We allow our regret and remorse to keep us from taking action today. If you too have done this, please consider that today is a good day to stop. So often I get a call from a middle-aged prospective client  who has made this decision to STOP having regrets and simply move forward from where they are to turn their work, their life and their finances around. What many people don’t realize is that if they’ve learned from the mistakes they’ve made in their life, in their work, in their finances, they may be in an excellent position for success now. Those lessons may have resulted in wisdom or maturity that will well serve whatever ventures they now have in mind for themselves. It’s seldom too late. Your best life awaits you. Take the first step. Need support? Contact me. It’s my greatest honor to support people to discover and fulfill their purpose and create their best life, their most authentic life, the life they’ve dreamed of living. Money and what you believe about money is often one of the biggest obstacles to this. Let’s eliminate that obstacle and replace it with what will serve you and your purpose.  This is why I created my business, Money Mastery. Ultimately, it’s really not about the money. Master your Inner Game of money; it’s the KEY to living the life YOU are meant to lead. Today is a good day to start. Now take that first step.

The Economy and Mahashivaratri: Fears and Beliefs Point the Way to Growth and Healing

The Economy and Mahashivaratri: Fears and Beliefs Point the Way to Growth and Healing

Right now, many people think that having plenty of money would make them feel whole because their sense of security is being threatened by their belief in a failing economy. This is actually a very good indicator of where their belief really is. Your fear and insecurity is always pointing the way to your healing as a spiritual being. What do you fear? If it’s a lack of security, then you believe in the idea that money and business comes FROM people instead of THROUGH people.

There is only one source of supply – God/Source/Universe/Spirit- whatever term works for you. No situation or circumstance can change that truth.
No matter what it is that you secretly desire, if you believe that it will come from God/Source/Universe/Spirit (and NOT from other people), it can be yours. If you believe that, you can be At Cause rather than At Effect (see previous posts about these terms), you can utilize Universal Laws such as the Law of Attraction. Beliefs are KEY! Your success with anything is dependent upon your beliefs. If you have conflicting beliefs, even at the subconscious level, your chances of success are undermined. NLP, Hypnosis and Theta Healing are great ways to resolve such conflicting beliefs!

I filmed a video on Friday for my soon-to-launch website for my business, Money Mastery. Some clients came in to film testimonials about working with me. One of them talked about discovering in our work together how many limiting beliefs he had been unaware of. As we uncovered these beliefs and resolved them, his entire life began to shift and improve- even in areas that we weren’t directly addressing. How cool is that? It frequently happens! That’s the power of using quantum physics in my processes with clients.

Today is Maha Shivratri, the night of the worship of Shiva. It occurs on the 14th night of the new moon during the dark half of the month of Phalguna (Feb / March). It’s the darkest of all the new moons. It’s a time when Hindus offer special prayer to the lord of destruction. I study Anusara yoga with an amazing teacher, Laura Christensen. In talking about the auspiciousness of this day, she said it’s a good time to release what you don’t want to make space for what you do want (I say it’s ALWAYS a good day to do that!), and to clarify your intentions. Get crystal clear on what it is that you want. Allow yourself to FEEL what it will be like when it comes to fruition. Allow yourself to feel your longing and desire. Don’t hold back. No one is watching. This is the day to really let yourself feel it.
Rather than using the words “I want ______” Use the words “May it be”. For example: rather than saying “I want a great job.” , say:”May I have the right job for me at this time.”

May we all have the fruition of our hearts’ deepest desires!

How Does the Proposed Wall Street Bailout Affect Your Security?

How Does the Proposed Wall Street Bailout Affect Your Security?

The events of this week and the uncertainty about the future that they engender make one thing crystal clear: Our only security is what is intrinsically part of us and cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed.  Our inner qualities, capacities, and knowing are secure within us.  Our integrated confidence in our own abilities to create and offer meaningful, purpose-filled products and services that serve the world and serve humanity is how that security manifests.

Our external circumstances, environment, investment accounts, relationships and more can change or fall away in an instant, but as long as we continue to believe in our divine capacity to contribute… and to live happy, fulfilling, fabulous lives … we remain open to the opportunities that exist at exactly the same time as any perceived crisis.

Perhaps more so than any other time since the late 80s, this is the time to INVEST in OURSELVES – in cleaning out and up-leveling our internal belief and guidance structures – so that no matter the shifts in our economic or political environment we become and remain true to our unique gifts and are able to stay the course to fully express these gifts. By clearing out limiting beliefs, developing constructive habits, remaining calm and grounded, taking purposeful steps, getting and staying in alignment with our inner compass, clearing obstacles to our personal power, we increase our security and our chances of not only surviving but THRIVING now and into the future! This is how many entrepreneurs will achieve massive success in the next 12 months regardless of the circumstances covered by the news media.
The mainstream news is very negative lately (as it is usually), yet so many great things are truly happening all over the world at any given time- it’s just that few ever get to hear about those things. I urge you to focus on where you want to be going and realize that with the law of polarity in place, when you hear of bad times, there is also tremendous good happening and it’s your choice which one will affect your life, your consciousness, and your purpose. There are no victims – only participants.  What we put our attention on expands.  What do you want to expand?  Put your attention there and keep it there.  The benevolent forces in the universe WILL be with you.
