Success, Happiness, Progress and your conscious mind, and your unconscious or subconscious mind
Do you ever return to your business after attending a seminar, reading a book, listening to a CD, or pumped up full with fresh information and inspiration, only to never apply it? You may have blamed yourself for the lack of follow through. In fact, the part of your brain that GATHERS information is different from the part that APPLIES new knowledge and the two were not working together. In fact, they are often at cross-purposes to each other and you may be entirely unaware of this. They may be at total loggerheads. There may be intense internal conflicts hampering your progress and thwarting your success. It’s all too common!
Your conscious mind is responsible for choosing what you want. Your subconscious mind is responsible for your perceptions and behavior. You may need to reprogram your subconscious to think and behave in ways that support what you want, believe in those things, and be willing and able to work toward what you want. Without this reprogramming, your forward progress, about which you were so inspired, will be hampered by internal conflicts between what your subconscious believes is possible and what your conscious mind wants to happen.
Here are three things you can do to start reconditioning your subconscious:
1. Take action every morning. Start your day with FEELING how you want your life and your business to be- how will it feel when it’s the way you want it to be? Allow yourself to remain in that feeling. Meditate on your visions and goals for your business and life. This is a first step in The Law of Attraction.
2. Focus on what you’re grateful for. By combining your feelings of gratitude along with visualizations in the morning, your brain will release chemicals which will begin to retrain your subconscious mind to think differently.
3. Emotionalize your success. Act as if you are already at the level of success that you want to achieve. By putting yourself in those shoes, you will think and behave differently… which will lead to changes in your perception ad in your behavior… and more importantly… will lead to action.
These are just the beginning steps to change from the inside out in order for your world to change. It is actually a slow process to change the subconscious in this way so don’t expect it to happen fast. Your neurology has to change; new neural pathways in the brain must be forged and deepened by repetition or intensity. If you want fast, you’ll need the help of a professional. My clients shift rapidly with the help of tools for accelerated transformation. Read About Me page for more info.

Mastering money, advancing our spiritual awareness and wholeness
The following is an exerpt from one of my mentors, David Neagle: ”Money is nothing more than another form of energy, one that we currently use as a medium of trade. This energy is either attracted or repelled according to our vibration with it. Money in itself is neither good or bad; however, it does tend to magnify a person’s blocks, false beliefs and core attributes. A person who does not master money will become a slave to it. And, we know that one is not free if they are a slave to anything. Learning the art of manifesting money is, in fact, one of the last freedoms we must master in order to advance in our spiritual awareness and wholeness.”

“Do you want MORE?”: John Assaraf speaking in Legos, Nigeria
I just watched a clip on youtube of John’s speech.
How you’ve been has gotten you where you now are. If you want more, you have to become more yourself!
If you’re interested in something, you’ll do what’s convenient for you.
If you’re committed, you’ll do whatever it takes.
Give this some thought. Spend some time with these ideas. Have a good look at yourself, your life, the results you want vs. the results you have. What would it take to have the results you want? Will you commit to doing whatever it takes? Take that first step right now: write down the first 3 things you need to do and when you’re going to do them. Put them in your calendar now.

DESIRE is a signal that the Universe has prepared a field a possibilities and a pathway that will result in your DREAM MADE MANIFEST as long as you take the right and aligned steps.
Inspired dreams and visions are the WAY the Universe is whispering in your ear, saying;
That assignment you accepted before you took form is now ready for your attention! You’ve been prepared for this next step and everything you think you will need is all lined up and will be revealed in the right and perfect timing. But, dear one, you’ve got to take the next steps and walk your talk, put feet to your prayers and demonstrate that you are ready, willing and able to partner with this dream of ours and make it reality.

Have you used Mint.com?
The only small flaw it has is that you can’t truly track cash spending very well. You have to “split” cash withdrawal transactions into the various ways you spent that cash. Otherwise, it has brought much clarity to people’s financial situations, in such a pleasurable way. The site design is handsome and easy to use, and the trends and transactions features are SO HELPFUL.
What sites have you found to be helpful? Please share the wealth, so to speak. Please post a comment.

Debbie Ford and your Shadow
I spent the weekend with Debbie Ford viewing her soon-to-be-released film on the Shadow (which featured Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Mark Victor Hansen, and many others whose work includes the Shadow) and experiencing the interactive version of the film where you answer questions to reveal your relationship with your Shadow. Debbie Ford is the author of several books including Dark Side of the Light Chasers, Why Good People Do Bad Things, Spiritual Divorce, and The Secret of the Shadow: The Power of Owning Your Story , to name just a few.
The Shadow, a term coined by Carl Jung, is comprised of the parts of ourselves that we’ve disowned and deny. The Shadow has the characteristics and qualities that most bug us in other people, those that we’re likely to judge others for and would least want to be seen as having ourselves much less be judged for having. These are our many Shadows. We expend a tremendous amount of energy attempting to conceal our Shadow and create masks to cover our many Shadows. We cannot succeed at this 100% of the time no matter how much we effort. When these efforts fail, we act out. The characteristics and behaviors we’ve tried to conceal are revealed in a raw form. The masks become our prison. The Shadow holds a tremendous amount of power over us! Power that we could be using in positive ways if we weren’t denying the Shadow. Anything that we are identified with has control over us. Anything we can disidentify from, we can control.
Here are a few quotes from the film:
What we can’t be with, won’t let us be!
Either you’re going to use the Shadow or it’s going to use you.
Whatever we judge in others is something we’ve disowned in ourselves.
We possess every human characteristic whether dormant or active- this includes the flip side of all of your positive qualities!
What you resist, persists.
At our very core, we all believe that we are bad and wrong; this is why we are constantly trying to be good and insisting that we are right (and also insisting that others are wrong and bad).
Anywhere you are overcompensating or trying to prove something, the Shadow is present.
When we suppress any part of ourselves, we’re living in denial of all that we are and we’re cut off from the totality of our power.
The Shadow is merely a part of our humanity. It’s completely normal to have one. Having a Shadow is an impetus for creativity and growth.
More than anything, we long to be set free and accepted for who we really are.
As we move through our Shadow, we reclaim our light. Our external world can shift once our internal world shifts.
